Best Show Ever!
The best comedy show I've ever been to was Akeem Ali on Broadway (and I've been to More than a lot including Chappelle at Radio City). Cell phones were locked in pouches & smart watches taken off as usual. Donnell Rollins opened up for him and was great, so much energy! We were seated Front Mezzanine Row C and had a spectacular view close to the stage. Akeem did a hilarious set in the more intimate theater setting and we gave him a standing ovation as he walked off. The line down the block was super long but once doors open moved at a good pace. Drinks were about $25 each for a double and then Akeem ended up giving us an additional time talking & telling jokes! SO COOL. I ran to the bathroom, and to my surprise, I could still hear Akeem on the mic. When we went back in, he was taking a photo with the audience behind him holding up our play bills. Seriously, the best comedy experience ever, best $ I've ever spent on any show.
